Meet Chris Eby, a Sr Project Manager at bb7, and a true southern gentleman! Chris loves the diversity and challenges encountered with each new project, saying, “It is inspiring for me to have the opportunity to solve a problem when it appears there may be no solution.” Chris loves to help people in need and working on projects that truly make an impact. One of his current projects involves identifying opportunities for increasing the use of recycled materials in new products.

With uncles in engineering and industrial design, Chris originally got the recommendation to pursue engineering from his mom and dad. Upon receiving his engineering degree from the University of Kentucky, Chris packed up and headed to the Midwest, designing innovative products at Sub-Zero, Stryker Medical, Fiskars, and Datex-Ohmeda. Chris began work with bb7 as a client in 2006 and was welcomed to the team in 2017.

Outside work, Chris loves hiking and canoeing with his wife and three sons, as well as golfing with the bb7 crew! Chris is an aspiring chef and designs his own recipes to incorporate nutrition into delicious meals for their family. You may see the Ebys out on the town taking in live music, but they also enjoy making music at home together with the guitar, mandolin, flute, and drums!

Chris’s passion for good design, sense of humor, and dedication to making an impact are reflected in his work and his life. He is a man of many talents and brings a unique perspective to the bb7 team! 🔧🥾🎸
