For the third straight year, bb7 appears on the Inc. 5000 list with Three-Year Sales Growth of 70%

Madison, WI, August 18, 2016

bb7, a comprehensive product development firm, announced today that it was named to the Inc. 5000, Inc. magazine’s 35th annual list of the nation’s fastest-growing private companies. Madison, Wisconsin based bb7 ranked number 4091 of 5000. The list, which measures companies’ three-year growth, is a comprehensive look at the most important segment of the economy—America’s independent entrepreneurs.

bb7 is a privately held product development and design firm working primarily with medical device, consumer product and industrial clients. The firm’s revenue has seen a 70% increase in revenue over the past three years due in large part to repeat business. bb7 is known for its client satisfaction; 90% of bb7’s clients return for new and continued work. It is among the top 20 fastest-growing companies in Wisconsin with 50 or more employees.

This is the third consecutive year that bb7 has been included on the list; it was first named to the Inc. 5000 in 2014.

“We are optimistic that bb7’s growth will continue. Since last year’s Inc. 5000 publication, we launched a new website, debuted a new wireless beehive monitor which showcased our expertise within software and electrical engineering, guaranteed the manufacturability of the products we develop [conditions apply] and have appointed new talent in key roles. Of course, our proudest achievement is always helping our clients achieve their product development goals,” said Bob Schofield, General Manager of bb7.

“As we continue to grow, we’ll seek to add Human Factors to our list of comprehensive capabilities and expand our custom product testing offering,” said Schofield.

bb7 is in good company: the average company on the list achieved a three-year growth of 433%. The Inc. 5000’s aggregate revenue is $200 billion, and the companies on the list collectively generated 640,000 jobs over the past three years, or about 8% of all jobs created in the entire economy during that period. Complete results of the Inc. 5000, including company profiles and an interactive database that can be sorted by industry, region, and other criteria, can be found at www.inc.com/inc5000.

“The Inc. 5000 list stands out where it really counts,” says Inc. President and Editor-In-Chief Eric Schurenberg. “It honors real achievement by a founder or a team of them. No one makes the Inc. 5000 without building something great – usually from scratch. That’s one of the hardest things to do in business, as every company founder knows. But without it, free enterprise fails.”
