Job Summary: The Technical Recruiter recruits for external clients engaged in bb7’s Technical Talent services, as well as for internal positions. This role serves as a business partner to hiring managers & senior leaders, providing guidance and expertise on identifying and fulfilling hiring needs. The Technical Recruiter manages multiple open requisitions while also developing relationships with clients to grow the pipeline.

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment:

  • Oversee full life cycle recruitment activities including sourcing, screening, candidate assessments, presentation of candidates, and preparing offers
  • Facilitate pre- and post-interview assessments and discussions with hiring managers and interview team
  • Proactively engage passive candidates through in-depth online searches, LinkedIn, networking, etc.

Internal Relationships & Processes:

  • Build and maintain relationships with cross-functional employees to ensure deep understanding of bb7’s talent and value proposition, and create and offer solutions for the clients based on that knowledge
  • Maintain working knowledge of bb7 applications, systems, and processes including the CRM, ATS, HRIS, project management software, financial software, proposal/contract processes, etc.

Sales & Marketing:

  • Collaborate with bb7 business development team to identify opportunities and promote Technical Talent as a service offering
  • Identify prospects and capture new business; lead client meetings to understand their needs and staffing plans, and offer recommendations and creating staffing solutions to clients to meet their resourcing needs
  • Work with the marketing team to develop promotional and brand materials to sell bb7 Technical Talent

Project Management:

  • Manage multiple open requisitions at varying stages and prioritize competing responsibilities while meeting company and client expectations
  • Work closely with Director of Technical Talent to identify goals and metrics to increase effectiveness and profitability
  • Manage ongoing contracts and maintain contact with clients and contract employees and perm placements to ensure client and employee satisfaction

Training & Education:

  • Stay current on legal issues, industry best practices and trends and apply to recruiting practices
  • Educate and train hiring managers and interview teams on legal compliance and best practices for interviewing and hiring
  • Maintain Certified Staffing Professional certifications

Education & Skills 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field
  • At least 3 years’ experience providing recruitment services including sourcing, interviewing, prescreening, candidate presentation, interview preparation, and candidate selection
  • Staffing agency environment experience preferred
  • ASA Technical Services Certified and/or Certified Staffing Professional certifications preferred (or willingness to become certified)
  • Seasoned Microsoft Office user including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Prior experience using and managing an Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
  • Understanding of engineering & product development processes
  • LinkedIn Recruiter proficiency a plus
  • Open to occasional travel to client sites, recruiting events and career fairs; possible attendance at industry events
  • Must be able to work onsite at lease two days per week
